interesting

So far I found the fact that so many people have so many different ideas about what happiness is to them interesting.

Still looking for how do you find happiness?

  1. Hi Haven,

I think the trick is to to ask the question in a way that give you some interesting, comparative results.
Mat Johnson, an author I follow, just posted this kind of snide remark:

    "Mat Johnson ‏@mat_johnson 2h
I just want to be happy, all the time every moment every second 24/7 no exceptions."

Some questions that come to mind:
Is it ok to expect to be happy all the time?
    Does money actually buy happiness?
    Here's a good one from quora.com:

  2. Yes, Haven, your question, while a good one, may be too broad. Might you narrow the topic to address an aspect of happiness? I was thinking about how as Americans their seems to be a stronger emphasis on pursuing happiness than other places- is this healthy? For all the emphasis on happiness and the need to be happy, are we really happier? Why or why not?

I have two books you should check out:

    The Geography of Bliss
    AND
Bright-Sided by- I have to get the exact spelling of her name.

  3. I am making my question more about finding happiness and the steps to it. How every ones steps are different but some are the same. The ones that are the same why are they and what makes them.
